I got to know about Dr Vadivu ma’am from a senior who worked with her in MERF. Throughout the course of my thesis work, ma’am has been helpful as ENT surgeon as well as a statistician. She helped me compile the heaps of raw data i had and with any corrections or additions further needed. Ma’am has always been available for any consultation required and only with her help was i able to complete my thesis. Thank you so much ma’am.

I had my first interaction with Dr Senthil Vadivu in 2019 in Madras ENT Research Foundation (MERF), Chennai, India, when I had joined for my fellowship in cochlear implantation. Apart from being an excellent ENT surgeon, she was the destination for all statistics related doubt clearance for all post graduates and implantation otology fellows. She would guide us with questionnaire preparation, modifications required in the research methodology, correct statistical method to be used, identifying the appropriate journal to publish our articles and she had always held our hands till a paper is published or a thesis is accepted. She would explain in detail in the language we understand why a specific test is being used for a particular statistical analysis. Initially it was all sounding Greek and Latin to me, but gradually I started understanding and admiring her knowledge. I was lazy to publish articles for so many years, but my interaction with her changed my perspective towards research and publications. I have published several original research articles with her and am still counting on her guidance for statistics for my present and upcoming studies. I ask my PG students in my hospital to seek her guidance from the time of inception of thesis synopsis or planning stage of a research project. If an excellent statistician is with us to guide from the beginning of the study, many things are taken care of in the course of the thesis/ study and it is concluded peacefully. Dr Vadivu has been constantly updating her knowledge in research methodology and statistics, and she is a certified biostatistician. I am happy that she has extended her reach through this website. Being a modern medicine practitioner who has a vast medical knowledge, she understands all specialty related studies and suggest statistical reasoning with ease. I strongly recommend her guidance if you are looking for a statistician and wish her all the very best.

Dr Senthil Vadivu maam was like a friend and guide during my Implant fellowship days, and it continued even after I left MERF. So when i hit a dead end last year for one of my research articles, i did not think twice before calling ma'am. I am a consultant in a private hospital in Cochin now. I had taken Senthil mams help on a couple of projects while I was doing my MCh at AIIMS Rishikesh. My first interaction with Dr Vadivu when I joined MERF for my post doctoral training in Oct 2014. I acknowledge that it was her push and encouragement that I stepped into research work during my post doctoral training. Dr. Senthil Vadivu was a consultant during my senior residency period. My research article work took off only because of her.
